Foreign citizens without a national identity number needs to get a temporary number prior to the Prima Liv visit, in order for us to help you. A temporary national identity number can be recieved at the gynaecology reception between 08:00-16.30 hrs.
If you are not included in the Swedish social insurance system - Försäkringskassan - you need to pay for your visit (does not apply if you have a valid EU-card).

Maternal care
Pregnancy check-ups based on the wishes of the pregnant woman and her partner. We also follow a basic programme approved by Stockholm County Council.
We hold seminars in the lecture hall about childbirth and the immediate post-natal period.
Advice on contraceptive methods
The midwives are able to guide healthy women up to 50 years of age in their choice of contraception. If you'd like a counselling visit or insertion of coil or implant, book a visit via reception.
Pregnancy test
We perform pregnancy tests (no appointment necessary).
Chlamydia testing
We perform testing for Chlamydia and also HIV.
Gynaecological cell biopsy
All women in the counrty aged between 23 and 50 years are asked to attend at three-year intervals for a cytological health check (smear test). Women between 50 and 60 years are asked to attend at five-year intervals. New patients are welcome to attend testing after receiving notification.
Cervical cancer vaccine
We perform vaccination against cervical cancer. This service is paid for by patients. The vaccination protects against four types of human papillovirus, which is the most common cause of cell changes and condlyomas.
It is important that vaccinated women also continue to have regular smear tests.
The vaccination involves three injections which are performed over one year.
The current cost is approximately SEK 1,200/injection.
