Clinical Physiology
The Clinical Physiology Unit offers a wide range of physiological investigations including of the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys and urinary tract as well as certain neurophysiological diagnostics (EEG).
We also perform nuclear medicine studies (scintigraphy) of the heart and kidneys in cooperation with the Nuclear Medicine Unit.
Clinical physiology and nuclear medicine is a combined department that belongs on an organisational level to the imaging and functional medicine departments, which also include radiology and hospital physics. The department has been accredited since 22 May 2007.
