The Heart Clinic consists of three departments and two clinics:
- Ward 70 HIA (Heart Intensive Care Admissions)
- Ward 94, ischemic heart disease and elective coronary artery angiography and PCI
- Ward 97: arrhythmias, heart failure, elective pacemaker implantation,
cardioversion and review of medication

EECP for Refractory Angina Pectoris
Since summer 2005 we have been using a new, non-invasive therapy, EECP (Enhanced External Counterpulsation), for refractory angina. We are now pleased to be able to offer this treatment option to all patients in Sweden.
We prefer that referrals for EECP therapy include the most recent results of investigations, e.g. ECG, UCG, exercise ECG/myocardial scintigraphy and coronary angiography.
